About
My name is Caroline and I'm a half-Italian, half-English writer based in London. After completing my BA in Classics at Durham, I moved home to London to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing, during which I wrote my first novel, a psychological thriller. I'm currently working on my second and third novels, with the hope of finding an agent soon.
I also work as a freelance SEO copywriter and editor, currently specialised in email writing. Alongside this, I recently set up a poetry-in-the-mail subscription service, where I share my poetry with people who, like me, love to receive beautiful, handcrafted letters in the post!
In my spare time, I love travelling, going to concerts and the theatre, reading, and eating out.

Education
Master of Fine Arts
City, the University of London
MFA in Creative Writing with Distinction. During the course, I learnt how to write prose fiction (year 1), and how to use my new writing skills to develop a manuscript length piece of writing (year 2). During the course, I wrote my first novel, Face to Face, a psychological thriller set in Florence.
Bachelor of Arts
Durham University
BA in Classical Civilisations with First Class Honours. The course included the study of ancient history, ancient literature, ancient religion, ancient philosophy and ancient art as well as reception studies and the study of archaeological remains. My particular interest was in ancient literature, particularly Ovid, Sophocles and Virgil. For my dissertation, I explored the connection between silence, suicide and gender on the Sophoclean tragic stage. A lot of of my prose writing is inspired by ancient myths, particularly as told in Ovid's Metamorphoses.
I am hoping to begin my PhD in Creative Writing in September 2025, where I will be writing my third novel, Sophia, which explores the #tradwife phenomenon.
